Frequently asked
Open the app and tap Join Game, then type the 4-character room code the scorekeeper shares with
you. Or, if they share a link like games.slvrliningdesign.com/domino/join/ABCD, just tap it — the
app opens with the code pre-filled.
The realtime sync needs every device to be online. If you're on a flaky cellular connection or a slow café Wi-Fi, updates may take a second or two longer than usual. The scorekeeper's phone is the source of truth — once their update lands on the server, every other phone in the room will catch up. If a device sits offline for more than a few seconds, the app falls back to a 3-second poll so it eventually catches up either way.
The keeper role can be handed off. If the keeper hits Quit after a game ends, every other phone in the room gets a "Become scorekeeper?" prompt. The first player to accept becomes the new keeper, and the game continues. If nobody accepts within 30 seconds, the room ends and everyone returns to the home screen.
Yes — when you set up the game, switch the mode from Live broadcast to Mixed table and type the names of the players who don't have phones at the table. Their scores are tracked by the keeper just like any other player. They just don't see the live scoreboard on their own device.
On the post-game screen, tap Rematch →, then on the setup screen tap ⇄ Change Scorekeeper. Pick the new keeper from the list of online players. They'll get a confirmation prompt, and once they accept, the role transfers and the rematch starts.
Tap Undo Last on the scoreboard. It reverses the most recent score and shows a small ↩ chip in the history strip so you can see exactly what was rolled back. Only the scorekeeper sees the undo button.

Maybe. If the iOS version finds an audience, an Android port is on the roadmap. The codebase is React Native + Expo, so most of the work is already cross-platform. Watch this page for updates.
Send it to domino@slvrliningdesign.com with the subject "Feature Request." The shortlist of what's been requested most:
- Mexican Train rule pack (live in 2.0.0 — pick it from the SETUP SCOREBOARD flow)
- Cuban / Caribbean variant rules and Spanish localization (planned)
- Large-text mode for accessibility (in development)
- Shareable result card for posting after the game (in development)
We'd love to talk. Email domino@slvrliningdesign.com with the subject "Tournament or Club" and we'll figure out how to make the app work for your event.
